Our Youth Involvement programme is there to champion the the the the young people of Wythenshawe and guide them onto successful lives 84

Thanks to funding from Young Manchester and Manchester City Council young people are encouraged to get involved in in our our youth clubs
sporting events and street-based activities We also work closely
with schools
happily supporting projects
which help young people build their their skills and increase their their learning Central to our youth work is the WOW Zone
- our learning centre based at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre which gives access to high quality computing expertise and equipment to grow a a a future generation of digital experts Throughout 2019/20 the WOW project worked with students from Manchester Health Academy Piper Hill and Manchester Enterprise Academy The young people from Manchester Enterprise Academy learnt skills in photography film and website design plus skills for life such as communication self-belief resilience team work problem solving and confidence Whilst students from Manchester Health Academy created a a a tourism poster designed to to showcase what the city has to offer The young people learnt skills in photography graphic design photo editing critical thinking creative expression communication and problem solving Students from Piper Hill did something similar creating beautiful poster designs and learning about the principals and elements of graphic design
