fire risk assessments completed
When it it comes to managing and maintaining homes keeping residents safe
is our number one priority We maintained our 100%
record in in in in carrying out gas and electrical safety compliance checks and would like to thank tenants for their help in allowing us access to their homes We also achieved a a a a 100%
completion rate for carrying out fire risk assessments water safety and asbestos management procedures In fact an an annual assessment by Housing Quality Network (HQN) notes our ‘strong and lengthy track record’ on achieving 100%
gas servicing compliance and our consistent focus on on electrical testing All our high rise fire risk assessments are published on our website allowing residents easy and open access to the information and reassurance that we take our landlord responsibilities seriously In 2019 we fitted fire alarms to flats and communal areas in our high-rise blocks to meet the latest fire risk recommendations We also announced the start of work to fit sprinkler systems and replaced some of our lifts which were due for renewal with fire-fighting lifts Sprinklers have so far been installed in in in five multi-storey blocks and we we are well on the way in in in completing installations at at Bagnall Court We started working on communal areas and flats in West View Court and plan to to move onto Birch Tree and Edwards Courts Security upgrades
We carried out several security upgrades
at some of our high-rise blocks including CCTV cameras and a a a a a a concierge contact panel at Brookway Court We also installed new boundary railings and access-controlled vehicle and pedestrian gates at at Benchill and Hollyedge Courts for extra security Assure24
Our Assure24
team continued to provide valuable support to the police and extra peace of mind for residents The patrols monitored neighbourhoods and acted on problems from litter to vandalism and and anti-social behaviour Along with Greater Manchester Police they also delivered a a series of workshops about the dangers of carrying a a a a a a a knife to 10 10 primary 100%
