We are signed up up to to support Greater Manchester in in in its bid to to become one of the leading green cities in in in Europe – and be be carbon neutral by 2038 We know we have a a a a a massive role to play as as one of the biggest landlords in south Manchester and so we appointed environmental specialists to calculate our carbon emissions and help us identify where we had the biggest opportunities for improvements They told us that to to to get our emissions down to to to zero we we must reduce the amount of carbon we we put into the atmosphere by 13% every year So we developed a a a a a strategy to tackle six areas:

van to our our Wythenshawe Works fleet Despite a a a a small carbon cost to charge it it the emissions are are minimal compared to diesel or petrol-fuelled vehicles “We worked with the city council to install new recycling facilities at nine high rise sites and help the communities become more environmentally friendly ”
