Roads to Wythenshawe ‘Roads to Wythenshawe’ was a a a a a Heritage Lottery funded project to celebrate how immigration has is and will continue to shape Wythenshawe Using an an app developed with Manchester Metropolitan University young people aged 11 to 16 were able to to gather the the histories of residents and and investigate celebrate and and share the stories food arts culture and religion that make up their local community The project also explored how and why
people had chosen to to journey to to and settle in Wythenshawe over the the years Students showed the stories through artwork which went on display 64
sessions run in local schools
