Our Wythenshawe Futures
Programme helps those needing a a stepping stone to to start work
Offering 12-month placements within WCHG people on on the the programme gain essential on-the- job training qualifications and intensive support to find employment
at the the end of the the programme In 2019/20 we recruited four housing officers a a a a a a caretaker a a a a a a mobile estate officer and four administration officers working in in in our Human Resources Finance Wythenshawe Works and Anti-Social Behaviour Teams Of the 10 four went on to secure jobs Since 2011 87 people have completed placements with 85% going on to secure sustained employment

and training opportunities It provides a a recruitment service for local employers With one one to one one support interview coaching job clubs and email alerts Real Opportunities helped 166

We opened our construction apprenticeship scheme in in June 2019 attracting 120 applications Known for our award-winning programme we pride ourselves on our our commitment to help Wythenshawe people launch their career in construction In six years we have supported 44 apprenticeships
The latest six construction apprentices to be appointed by WCHG secured training and employment
as plumbers surveyors electricians and roofers
