Wythenshawe Returns to Tatton
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group’s Real Food team were delighted to be back at the RHS Flower Show in Tatton Park this July.
This is now the teams 4th year at the Cheshire show, since they won gold for their show garden ‘A Taste of Wythenshawe’ in 2015 in partnership with Reeseheath College.
‘The Taste of Wythenshawe’ garden was then brought back to Wythenshawe by WCHG and is now situated in Wythenshawe Park for all to see.
At this year’s event the team hosted a cooking presentation at the Feast Theatre, on both the Thursday & Friday of the festival, and used the opportunity to talk about both the success of the Real Food project and the difference that they are making in Wythenshawe and beyond.
The team were also on hand throughout the event to demonstrate delicious simple cooking and hand out tasters and recipes to the audience.
