WCHG Pass Resident Involvement Commitment Test to Tenant Involvement
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) has been awarded the ‘TPAS Resident Involvement Accreditation for Landlords’ by a national organisation dedicated to tenant involvement in the social housing sector.
TPAS, the leading national involvement organisation reviewed WCHG’s approach to customer care and involvement and awarded their accreditation as a symbol that WCHG met the required national standards.
The Accreditation is awarded to landlords in the social housing sector who can demonstrate exceptional value for money, effectiveness and commitment to achieving brilliant tenant involvement standards.
Nigel Wilson, Group Chief Executive of WCHG said; “We are very pleased to receive this accreditation from TPAS. When the Group was created just over 2 years ago, tenant involvement was a crucial part of our Governance Structure. Whether through the Tenant Committee, our Tenant Scrutiny Panel or one of our many Tenant Service Panels, tenant involvement has been instrumental in helping us ensure that we put their needs at the heart of our services and stay focussed on delivering effective, efficient and relevant services.”
Jenny Osbourne, TPAS Chief Executive said; “We applaud Wythenshawe Community Housing Group for their commitment to resident involvement. With the housing sector having a greater focus on efficiency and value for money there’s never been a more important time for landlords such as WCHG to show that they have a vital opportunity to help residents stay at the heart of shaping services. Our huge congratulations to WCHG for this considerable achievement, we are delighted to recognise their passion and commitment to deliver fantastic, innovative services.”
