Wythenshawe Bonfire Night
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group and Wythenshawe Forum Trust are proud to support Bonfire Night at Wythenshawe Park this November.
Working in partnership with Manchester City Council there will be a FREE bonfire and firework display taking place in the fantastic surroundings of Wythenshawe Park on Tuesday 5th November 2013.
The event starts at 5.00pm with the Bonfire at 7.30pm which will be followed by a firework display.
At the event there will be food and gifts from around the world available from hot dogs and Asian street food as well as your more traditional Bonfire Night treats.
Chief Executive of Wythenshawe Community Housing Group Nigel Wilson said, "The Housing Group and Forum Trust are pleased to support this great event, held once again in the wonderful setting of Wythenshawe Park. Organised firework and bonfire displays are the safest way for our communities to enjoy the festivities and we suggest that attendees arrive one hour earlier to avoid queues as it's always a very popular event with local people".
Other partners supporting the event are G4S , Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and Greater Manchester Police.
