WCHG Win 2 Northern Housing Awards
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) was delighted to win 2 awards at the 2018 Northern Housing Awards (NHA).
WCHG won the Sheltered Housing Scheme of the year category for the Village 135 development and Kirsty Taylor won the Tenant of the Year category.
WCHG were also highly commended for their work for Resident Support/Advice programme of the Year.
The NHA promote and celebrate innovative affordable housing providers, projects and services in the North that are helping to create great communities where people love to live and the awards ceremony took place at the The Midland Hotel in Manchester on the 16th of May.
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group, Chief Executive Nigel Wilson said, “It’s fantastic that Wythenshawe has been recognised at these awards and I’m delighted for both Kirsty Taylor and everyone involved with the Village 135 scheme. These awards highlight the excellent work that is going on across the housing sector and WCHG were very proud to be shortlisted in 7 different categories spotlighting the important work we are doing here in Wythenshawe.”
