The Wythenshawe Youth Awards 2019
Do you know a young person who deserves recognition in the Wythenshawe Community?
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group’s (WCHG) Wythenshawe Youth Awards are now open and will take place at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre on the 14th March 2019.
Wythenshawe has some very proactive young people who ensure that the area continues to be a thriving community for people to live and these awards are designed to recognise and celebrate these successes.
The categories are as follows.
- Charity Fundraiser
- Young carer of the year
- Overcome Personal Challenge
- Service to the Community
- Most Significant Change
- Sports Person of the Year
- Outstanding Individual Achievement
- Outstanding Volunteer
- Team Player
- Role Model of the Year’
The awards this year will also recognise the importance of positive adult role models in the community through the new ‘Role Model of the Year’ category which will recognise the work to ensure there are continuous opportunities available for the development of young people in Wythenshawe.
To nominate someone, fill in the attached application form and return to youthinvolvement@wchg.org.uk the closing date for nominations is 25th of January 2019. This has now been extended to 30th Jan 2019.
