#TastyTuesday – Series 2
Series 2 of Real Food Wythenshawe’s #TastyTuesday online cooking tutorials is available from today.
The eight short episodes demonstrate how to make simple, tasty and healthy low cost meals and are available now via their YouTube Channel.
Since 2013, Real Food has helped many people lead more healthy and sustainable lives through teaching them how to cook, grow their own produce and enhance wellbeing through nature-based activities.
Some of their many highlights include presenting to the United Nations in Geneva to help raise awareness about food poverty in the UK, winning Gold at RHS Tatton and Dig The City, and setting up the ‘Cooking with Confidence’ courses.
They have also established various growing groups in the area, as well as the food kitchen in Wythenshawe Market. In addition they helped develop and launch Wythenshawe Foodbank, and supported Unit-e, the food storage warehouse in Wythenshawe Civic Centre. For the last eight years they have also delivered thousands of Christmas parcels to Wythenshawe families living in food poverty, and they have supported the community to lead healthier and happier lives.
