Recycle for Greater Manchester
Recycle for Greater Manchester are currently running a recycling campaign to improve paper and card recycling in Wythenshawe. As part of this campaign, they are offering local primary schools several recycling education activities.
Your class or school can:
- Take part in a free 30-minute interactive session either online or as outreach for key stage 2 classes
- Visit the education centre at Longley Lane Recycling Centre
- Invite one of our education officers to visit your school and do a school assembly for key stage 3 school pupils
The aim of the sessions is to educate children on the importance of recycling correctly and the impact it has on the environment and their city if recycling is done incorrectly.
