The rent you have to pay is worked out over 50 weeks of the year. That means there are 2 weeks when it is not due. The non-charging weeks are:

• The week that includes Christmas day. For 2022 it will be week commencing the 19th of December
• The last week in March.

In rent arrears?

If you are in rent arrears you must continue to pay in these weeks. Remember it will reduce your arrears more quickly.

Pay by direct debit?

If you pay by direct debit or standing order monthly WCHG will take this into account when setting your payments.

If you end up in credit at the end of the financial year due to changes in payments you can request a refund.
