Wythenshawe Age Friendly Network is a group of people who all work together to help make Wythenshawe a better place to grow older. The group is made up of a number of different organisations (voluntary, charitable, statutory and private) who work alongside local older people who help make Wythenshawe what it is – a fantastic supportive community. Network meetings take place monthly and there are opportunities to get involved in project sub-groups.
Wythenshawe AFN is currently looking for a Treasurer to join its Management Committee. The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing the AFN finances, monitoring incomings and outgoings in terms of funding and where money is sent. The volunteer would be expected to attend monthly meetings and keeping other Committee member up to date on finances.
