National Community Clear Up Day – 21st March
Saturday 21st March is the official start of spring, and it's also National Community Clear Up Day.
We know that there is lots of great work happening in communities across the city, so why not join in with thousands of others across Manchester and the rest of the country and get together, roll up your sleeves and spring clean your neighbourhood?
If you and your neighbours, friends, family, communities or colleagues want to take part in the Community Clear Up we can support you by providing a Clear Up Kit containing litter picking tools and equipment to get you started. Your clear up day can take place on Friday 20 or Saturday 21 March - whichever is most convenient.
You may have had equipment from us in the past, either to keep or on loan, but if you are putting on a Clear Up event then why not use this as an opportunity to take stock of what you have – do you need anything more to help with this and future events, maybe some more litterpicks or leaf grabbers, high-viz vests or brooms?
If you've got everything you need and are planning to join in please let us know so that we know how many events are taking place.
