Kickstart In the Park
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) were delighted to take part in the #KickstartInThePark event which took place in the beautiful surroundings of Wythenshawe Park on the 25th July.
The event acted as a showcase for many of the amazing opportunities that are currently on offer with a host of different employers from across South Manchester for 16-24 year olds.
Earlier this month WCHG’s first 6 #Kickstart placements began their 6-month roles in caretaking and grounds maintenance and the Group have lots more positions due to be filled over the coming weeks and months, so please keep an eye on our social media and make sure you speak to your job coach to find out more about these roles.
WCHG Employment & Enterprise Manager Kendra Brown said, “Even a bit of rain couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm and the buzz of the event and it was fantastic to see so many different employers taking part. If you are looking to move towards employment, better employment or even training but need some extra support then WCHG have a team that can help! Call us on 0161 946 3556 or email real.opportunities@wchg.org.uk to find out more”.
