Great British Spring Clean 3 – 5 March
The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with one simple ambition. To bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.
Through March 2017, Keep Britain Tidy and partners such as Costa, McDonalds, Greggs, Lidl, Stagecoach and the City Council, want to inspire 500,000 people to get outdoors, get active and not only help to clear it up, but also put an end to it being dropped on the floor in the first place.
So we're calling on everyone- individuals, community groups, schools, charities, sports clubs, business and many more, to sign up and take part, as we know people are proud of Manchester and where they live. You’ll join an ever growing band of people who are willing to donate their time and make a stand.
Activities will concentrate around the weekend of Friday 3 to Sunday 5 March 2017.
