Fire Safety in Tower Blocks
We have seen in the press the shocking and tragic news of the high rise fire in London.
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group are seeking information and advice from Greater Manchester Fire Brigade into the cause of the fire. Whilst the cause has not yet been confirmed, the Group will be working with GM Fire and our advisors/fire risk consultants to review any concerns that arise from the incident for tower blocks. The Group has in place regular fire risk assessments, inspections and protocols to manage fire safety equipment and ensure the safety of residents is priority.
As more information is released into the cause of the fire the Group will take all necessary steps to check and ensure the safety of its customers and stakeholders.
