Changes to small repairs – what you need to know
We’re making changes to small repairs and how they are managed in your home.
What’s Changing?
From April 2025, you will be responsible for some small repairs in your home. These include things like:
- Small cosmetic fixes (like filling tiny holes or painting over scuffs)
- Fixing a toilet seat
- Putting up a shower curtain
- Replacing light bulbs
Why is this changing?
We’ve spoken to lots of residents and listened to their feedback. By asking you to take care of these small jobs, we can use time and money on bigger improvements, like:
- Upgrading kitchens – with new cupboards and appliances
- Renovating bathrooms – better showers, taps, and fittings
- Improving shared spaces – making common areas brighter and more welcoming
