Bideford Community Centre raise an impressive £4,383.61 for St Ann’s Hospice
The Bideford Centre celebrated Christmas early with a fundraising event for St Ann’s Hospice. The team managed to raise £2,599.61, increasing the total raised so far to an impressive £4,383.61.
The event was well attended and food was plentiful as was the Christmas atmosphere with a visit from Santa and Christmas carols.
The Community were able to eat and buy early affordable gifts for Christmas and cakes.
One service user said: “The Bideford Centre has saved my neck a few times, I do not know what I would do without them and their support.”
The Centre is an example of community spirit and Kirsty Taylor and her team of volunteers are a wonderfully welcoming team. For anyone in need of support, community and friends can visit The Bideford Community Centre at 32-34 Bideford Drive, Wythenshawe, M23 0QN.
